Nutrition Counseling Available at the YJCC PDF Print E-mail

Broadening its scope of wellness programs, the Bergen County YJCC has added nutrition counseling, in conjunction with the Center for Integrative Healing at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, to the mix.

Using a holistic approach, the counseling focuses on making healthy choices for a lifestyle that is nutritionally balanced. The goal is for individuals to achieve optimal physical and mental health through use of food and nutrients.

Holistic nutrition may address weight management, along with making healthy choices to prevent, control or treat symptoms of cancer, chemotherapy, GI issues, heart disease and high cholesterol, hypertension, PMS and PCOS and immune system disorders. Facilitator is Nancy J. Cooper, RD. Individual counseling is $99 per session, with money-saving packages available. Group counseling and nutrition counseling/personal training combination packages are also available.

Counseling sessions are at the YJCC, 605 Pascack Road, Township of Washington.
